Custom injection molder Jones Plastic & Engineering LLC has picked Ericom AccessNow to provide its 1,700 employees with remote access to Jones’ Epicor enterprise reporting system.
The Epicor ERP supports things like inventory, accounting and sales, for six Jones Plastic facilities in the United States and Mexico. Jones is based in Jeffersontown, Ky.
“Jones Plastic & Engineering is a great example of how AccessNow can be leveraged to extend ERP systems running on old or mixed Windows Server versions, across an array of endpoints, including Windows, Mac and mobile devices,” said Joshua Behar, president of Ericom Software, which is based in Closter, N.J.
Integrating HTML5 technology, AccessNow can be used across popular web browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Internet Exporter and Safari, extending Jones Plastic’s ERP system to mobile devices such as notebooks and smartphones.
