According to the Organization Committee of the 13th China Plastics Expo, from November 6 to 9 will open the 13th China Plastics Expo in Yuyao International Conference and Exhibition Center in China Plastics City. The theme of the expo is “opening, integration, upgrading and win-win”.
China Plastics Expo is a great event for the plastics industry in Yuyao and even in east Zhejiang. So far, it has been run for 12 years. It is the largest and highest grade event in the industry and related industries, and it is a very influential professional exhibition in China.
The hosts of the 13th China Plastics Expo are: China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, CNPC, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, Sinochem Group, China National Light Industry Council and Yuyao Municipal Government.
Reportedly, the expo will have 2,000 exhibition stalls and the exhibition area totals 42,000 square meters. There are five exhibition areas: the area for raw materials, the area for modes and mode machinery, the area for plastics machines, the area for plastic products and the area for technological and information services. It is noted that the area for technological and information services is a newly arranged area, and as a platform for the related enterprises, it aims to provide services to the enterprises participating in the expo for their demands of information collection, information release and technical exchanges.
It is reported that the 13th China Plastics Expo has 3 main programs and 3 supporting programs. The main programs include such activities as the opening reception party, the opening ceremony, the exhibitions, the investment invitation and talks, the International Forum of 2011 China Plastic Industrial Development, and scientific and technological exchanges. The supporting programs include the purchasing fair, the order placement fair and so on.
The 13th China Plastics Expo aims to be a “high end, international and innovative” fair.
Statistics show that the number of companies to the fair totals 293, including 84 foreign enterprises which occupy 370 exhibition stalls. covering 28.7% and 35.5% of the totals. There are 85 special enterprises which occupy 757 exhibition stalls, covering 32.1% and 72.6%% respectively of the totals. Both the foreign enterprises and special enterprises outnumber the last year.
So far, 55 enterprises from 19 countries and regions including USA, UK, Germany, Japan, South Korea and Russia had confirmed to come to the expo, and this number increased by 5% above the same period of last year. The large enterprises home and abroad are: ASCEND of USA, ARBURG of Germany, Formosa Plastics, Taiwan Plastics, Shanghai Golden Phillips, Hong Kong Source Plastics, Shodex of Japan, the Chen Hsong Group of Hong Kong, and Haitian International.
The new exhibition area for information technology exchanges is for the e-business like the on-line market, the www.21cp.net on-line market, and the Plastics Academy of China Plastics City. The Automatic Technology Research Center of Zhejiang University, and the Electronic Information R&D Center of Hangzhou Dianzi University will be in this area. The chosen works of the 5th home appliance designing contest will be displayed. This area is aimed to display the information technologies to promote the upgrading of related industries of Yuyao.
The 5th China Household Appliance Fair will open from November 7 to 9 in the International Conference and Exhibition Center of China Plastics City. The 3-day fair is also an exhibition area for the plastic products for the 13th China Plastics Expo. | |
